Cycle2Work

Did you know that a Government scheme exists that can save you around 50% off the cost of a new bike? It's called the Cycle to Work Scheme, and it aims to make cycling more attractive and more accessible by taking advantage of some unique tax incentives. To find out how much you could save under the Cycle2Work programme use our online savings calculator.
There are 5 easy steps to follow:
  1. The employee chooses a bike and any safety accessories either from the Richardsons Cycles on-line shop or by visiting us in person;
  2. The employee completes an Order Form
  3. .
  4. The employer then completes a Pre-Contract Information Form and gives it to the employee.
  5. A Hire Agreement covering the value of the goods to be purchased is then prepared and signed by the employer and the employee.
  6. The employer can either create an account on-line and order the bike and accessories (payment for the goods is taken at this time) or send us copies of the Order Forms together with a Company cheque for the value of the goods. Please note that we cannot reserve any bikes or accessories until payment has been received.
The employer then processes the employee's salary sacrifice for the duration of the hire period.
